New section for Safety solutions on our website
|
|
|
The
deadline
is
getting
nearer:
The
new
EU
machinery
directive
(EN
2006/42/EC)
comes
into
force
throughout
Europe
on
29
December
of
this
year.
From
then
on,
only
machines
conforming
to
the
directive
can
be
sold.
It’s
thus
reassuring
to
have
a
competent
automation
partner
like
Mitsubishi
Electric,
for
whom
safety
has
always
been
just
as
important
as
quality.
We’re
going
to
be
staging
a
series
of
information
events
on
the
new
machinery
directive
throughout
Europe
this
year
–
so
contact
your
nearest
sales
office
to
find
out
when
the
next
event
in
your
area
is
going
to
be.
You
can
also
find
an
overview
of
Mitsubishi
Electric’s
comprehensive
range
of
safety
products
on
our
website.
Mitsubishi
Electric’s
safety
solutions
can
be
fully
integrated
in
your
machine
configuration,
where
they
will
both
protect
your
staff
and
boost
productivity
and
performance.

Help for selecting frequency inverters
|
|
|
Pump,
fan,
conveyor
belt
or
crane
–
which
drive
or
frequency
inverter
system
is
right
for
my
task?
Mitsubishi
Electric’s
range
of
inverters
includes
economical
solutions
for
all
applications.
And
now
we’re
making
the
choice
even
easier
with
additional
information
and
useful
tools
in
the
MyMitsubishi
section
of
our
website.
All
inverter
types
and
their
typical
applications
are
listed,
along
with
information
on
matching
EMC
filters,
brake
resistors
and
power
contactors.
In
addition
to
the
data
for
the
frequency
inverters
themselves
you
can
also
enter
relevant
information
for
your
system
like
motor
cable
lengths
and
carrier
frequencies
to
locate
the
ideal
solution
for
your
application.
There
is
also
an
energy
saving
calculator:
With
just
a
few
key
characteristics
for
the
selected
drive
system
it
calculates
the
power
consumption
and
tells
how
much
you
will
save
compared
to
your
current
solution
and
how
long
the
new
system
would
take
to
pay
for
itself.

Streamline your business with the MES IT
|
|
|
In
many
companies
various
inefficiencies
are
stalling
profitability.
Often
these
small
process
shortfalls
are
not
easily
detected.
The
problem
is
the
link
between
the
production
environment
and
the
enterprise
is
weak.
That
is
where
the
MES
Interface
IT
hardware
from
Mitsubishi
Electric,
with
its
embedded
devices
WISE
core
and
EZSocket
connectivity,
helps
buissinesses
tap
into
the
data
they
need
quickly,
efficiently
and
securely,
so
they
can
make
more
intelligent
decisions
and
create
a
clear
path
to
efficiency,
peak
productivity
and
effective
supply
chain
management.
The
MES
Interface
IT
is
a
part
of
the
iQ
Platform.
It
can
be
used
to
capture
information
from
all
sorts
of
devices
including
other
PLCs
and
set
it
directly
to
MES
and
inventory
management
applications.

Maximum quality for the automobile industry
|
|
|
The
automobile
industry
demands
exceptional
quality
from
its
suppliers
and
the
Bergmann

in
Meppen,
Germany
is
no
exception.
Bergmann
is
a

essential
to
maintain
the
required
quality
standards
required
by

and
to
make
production
as
efficient
as
possible
to
stay
competitive.
This
applies
in

for
automotive
engines.
The
sleeves
are
made
from
centrifugally-cast
tubes,
which
are
cut
to
length,
machined,
measured,
tested
and
prepared
for
shipment
by
an
automated
packaging
system
in
an
integrated
manufacturing
process.
The
entire
process
is
fully
automated,
using
modern
milling
centres
fitted
with
state-of-the-art
AC
servo
and
motion
control
technology
from
Mitsubishi
