The iQ platform is already a world leader in its ability to combine all key types of automation on a single, compact controller. A key part of this functionality is to realize a sophisticated CNC controller, the C70 CPU, as one of the control elements seamlessly integrated into the platform. As well as offering a complete multi-axis controller capable of a wide variety of CNC applications, the C70 is also compliant to the current and future machine tool related safety standards. Currently the C70 complies to EN 954 -1 category 3 and compliance to the revised EN ISO 13849-1:2008 is planned.
